What People Need To Know About Dog Behavior?

As the old saying goes, "Dogs are man's best friend". However, sometimes people do not understand why their beloved dogs behave differently. It is therefore extremely important to know the underlying reasons why dogs sometimes behave differently.  In reality, the human could learn the most appropriate behavior from his dog.  Experts say dog behaviors can be controlled with proper training.

Why is it important to understand dog Behaviour? How do you understand a dog's behavior? What are the most important things to know about dogs? What are the different behavior of dogs?

Dog behaviors are actually responses that are primarily triggered by environmental and social factors. Therefore, to control these responses, the owner must teach their dog the appropriate way to react to these elements.

Dog bite

Statistics show that nearly 5 million people in the United States are victims of dog bites each year. This represents almost 2% of the total population of the United States. Additionally, dog bites are the second leading cause of hospital emergencies.

So the question is, why do dogs bite?

According to experts, the main reasons why dogs may bite are:

1. Excitement

When someone plays with their dog, the dog tends to get excited, and since dogs don't have hands to play with, they tend to use their mouths to grab things. When this happens, the dog tends to accidentally hurt people.

2. Protection

Dogs can be very possessive. So when they want to protect something that belongs to them, they bite anyone who threatens to take it from them. Therefore, when people approach the dog's property, the dog tends to bite to get the person to leave their property alone.

3. Pain

When the dog does not feel well, he does not understand why he feels this way. Therefore, when a person, even if it is his master, touches him, he may think that it is the person causing the pain and therefore his tendency is to defend himself by biting.

4. Fear

Dogs are also afraid. That's why, when someone startles him, the dog's only known protection is to bite back.

So, the best thing to do to avoid these situations is to leave the dog alone. The problem for many people is that they tend to always play with their dog without knowing when and how to leave him alone.

Like humans, dogs also have feelings. When these feelings are mixed up, their only known protection is to bite, as they cannot make sense of the situation in a logical way. So people should know about it in order to avoid such circumstances.

As they say, it is really useful to know everything.
