A cat has a neurological disease proving cuddling with other animals. Can cats live with neurological problems?

cat, animal, pet

Roberta was born with a neurological disorder, but despite this, she is a very sociable cat. Despite her health problems, she quickly integrates into her new family, helped by the animals in the house.

A 9-year-old cat named Roberta suffers from cerebellar hypoplasia and an unsteady gait. Her illness will not cause her pain or affect her life expectancy, said Asa, a volunteer foster mother who opened the door for her.

The cat was commissioned from him by the Virginia-based AWLA (Arlington Animal Welfare Alliance). It didn't take long for her to reveal her beautiful personality to the owner. "She immediately approached me asking for petting and started purring. She even approached the resident dog to say hello," Asa told Love Meow.

Although thin and in poor health, she is friendly and affectionate with everyone she meets.

Starting with Kona, Asa's adopted dog, Asa welcomes him in his own way as soon as he arrives. Roberta seemed delighted, responding to the dog's "kiss" with an affectionate mouth and growl.

"The person who adopted Roberta was lucky to have her"

All the other animals in the house are nice to him. His grapefruit companion bathes him every day. However, a special bond unites Roberta and Kona, and they have become inseparable.

Two weeks later, his condition improved considerably. Roberta also became happier and more confident. "The man who adopted him was lucky," Asa concluded.
